The staff were all competent and well-mannered.

Appealing place with unobtrusive stuff especially on the reception desk. A good choice of goodies for breakfast. Central location in lovely surroundings. Just next door to the restaurant and bar, the leisure centre and the outlets.

Really enjoyed our rooms with a sofa.

This is a central location for South Yorkshire and has good Motorway access. The Hotel is in a secluded location with good facilities.

Good firm bed and pleasant sized room and bathroom. Interesting building

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with excellent breakfast options that included a good variety for all tastes and a cute bar/lounge area to relax after exploring the city.

Everything was as expected.

I loved the fact that Hellaby Hall is very important historically for that area. Being able to have access to the pool.The size of the room and bed, free parking. The breakfast. Staff very helpful. Just a very nice place. Would be handy if the hotel could give a map of how to get to rooms that are a fair distance away from the reception. On the whole a very enjoyable place to stay at. It was useful for getting buses at the top of the driveway

Shower over the bath. Was a bit disappointed that the calls that we made from our room which were of extremely poor quality, so poor that the calls lasted a lot longer than would have ordinarily and as they were made to book a hire car and there was no choice but to struggle calls, were charged to us, would have been nice if they had deleted the cost to compensate us for the inconvience that the poor quality caused us

The helpful and friendly staff - very professional, and made our short stay most enjoyable. We will definitely stay again. Also, the special offer on rates made for outstanding value for money.

You need to look at the left hand bannister rail on stairs from reception. Loose, and potentially dangerous.

The beautiful king room was spacious, but the bathroom cleanliness was disappointing.

The reception staff member who dealt with our complaint was extremely courteous and helpful.

The room we were initially allocated was poor. The window did not shut as the frame was warped and the duvet was of very poor quality; lumpy and uncomfortable. We complained about the latter and were allocated a room of better quality straight away.

The grounds and gardens to the Hotel are exellent.

I paid to upgrade to a delux room and found that the double bed was 2 single beds zipped together which made it very uncomfortable to sleep in the middle of the bed as it had a hard ridge down the middle where the two beds zipped together. For a so called delux room the least i would expect is a 'proper double bed' We also had a meal in the Resturant and thought the customer service was poor, our main course was brought to our table before they had cleared our starters and we also found a hair in one of our main course meals.

The spa on site was very useful though the jacuzzi was too cold and not working properly.

The sloping ceiling made moving around rather annoying at times.

Beautiful big comfy bed and room was spotless well pleased.

Not near anything and the drinks at the bar were very overpriced as we were at a wedding reception it made it expensive.
